Minimum Web Design Standards Policy
The DesignBay Minimum Web Design Standards Policy (the "Minimum Web
Standards" or “Web Standards Agreement”) outlines DesignBay's requirements for your submissions (HTML pages and complete
websites) through
the website www.designbay.com (the “Site” or the “Service”). Note that in addition to these Minimum Web Standards is the User Agreement,
which details your rights and responsibilities when using the Service,
must be agreed to and followed.
Non-Compliance
DesignBay reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove,
block, not display and not store any information or materials that we deem to not
comply with the Minimum Web Standards. DesignBay may limit, suspend or terminate the
Service or remove member content and submissions to keep members off the site if
we think they do not comply with our Minimum Standards. DesignBay may block,
cancel or reverse payments (including base payments or place payments) to designers
if we deem their submissions do not comply with the Minimum Standards.
DesignBay will have no obligation to monitor submissions or contributions made on
the Service. However, DesignBay and its customers and other members have the right
to monitor these transmissions and postings and report these activities or take
the action as detailed above where the User Agreement or any other policies are breached.
General Quality
Submissions
must be of reasonable quality. DesignBay reserves the right to deem any submission
as being of unreasonable quality.
As a guideline, we define reasonable quality as designs that are:
- Highly professional
- Meeting the brief
- Suitable for the
purpose and target market
DesignBay reserves the
right to deem the general quality of a submission to be unacceptable and thus non-compliant
with these guidelines. DesignBay will reject submissions designed too quickly,
with unreasonable quality or where we think the aim of earning a minimum payment.
